Auntitled.JPGbiotic and Biotic Factors-

Temperature - Plants: temperature affects how the plants grow.
Water - Bugs: water affects the population of bugs that grow up in water or live in water thus providing less food for bug eating creatures, less water equals less bugs.
area - animals: area afffects how much food there is in the ecosystem, if there is less food there are more animals fighting to stay alive.
Consevation plan
-
In order to keep the water level safe we think that the emergency flooding system instead of letting the water just flow out into the ocean should be stored in tanks or whatever liquid holding system is most cost efficient. Then if the water level in the wetlands gets to low release some of that water back into the Everglades. also if a neighborhood is not gaining anyone to live in their homes they should donate the land to the everglades to expand the area again a little bit.

Threats to our ecosystem-
· Dangers of coastal oil spills threaten the water. If the water becomes infected with oil fish and other animal life will die off. Thus causing a major chain reaction in the food chain and raising prices most likely of bass.

·
As the population of Florida increases the land to build on is shrinking. Oh they don’t just stop building once they reach the everglades they build over it. More and more animals are losing their homes to us. It creates a struggle for food in species.

Importance of the Everglades-
The everglades is the largest wetland habitat in the usa, it used to cover 1/4 of florida. The vast region helped prevent hurracanes from powerinf up from the warm waters of the gulf coast. If it is not protected the hurracans that heads towards the south part of florida will not decrease in power. It is a known fact that the everglades deep root system and high trees prevents the hurracanes from growing more powerful than they all ready are.
